#GetChecked Prostate Cancer & STM #222

The 2023 LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12-Hour race was cut short for the STM #222 PRO-AM team in 2023. Scott walked away from a high impact smash at Skyline, one of the most unforgiving sections of the Mt Panorama ‘car killer’ circuit.

It’s been an action-packed day on Mt Panorama with 4 cars out of the race in the first half. There is no doubt an early exit in the second half of the race is a disappointing finish for the #222 Mercedes-AMG GT3, but true to his sporting nature, Scott is focussed on the highlights and the achievements of the collective team.

Scott considers participation represents the intention and commitment to contribute at the highest level, driving to the very best of your ability on the day, in a field comprising the world’s most capable professional and amateur drivers, at one of the most challenging and unique environments.

“It’s definitely much bigger than winning alone, it is a privilege to drive with teammates and racing legends, have a team of talented, dedicated people and most significantly we are so proud to make a substantial contribution to such an important health initiative,” Scott said.

STM #222 and #GetChecked Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia campaign www.pcfa222stm.org is well on the way to achieving the $100,000 fundraising objective and creating awareness of the need for men to get checked for this deadly disease.
